About the event
About the choir
New Horizon Choir is a contemporary open-access choir, aiming for excellence in everything they do. It was formed in January 2023, and has already attracted over 70 singers.
About the concert
This is New Horizon Choir's first public concert, and it features an epic programme of music. There is everything from major Motown classics such as "I heard it through the grapevine" and "Ain't no mountain high enough", through hits by artists such as David Bowie, Peter Gabriel and the Rolling Stones, to an epic finale using music originally written for the Commonwealth Games.
Doors will open to ticketholders at 6:30pm. The concert will begin at 7:30pm. Seating is by general admission (not allocated seats), but members of the choir will be on hand to help you find available seats as the auditorium fills up.
