About the event
About the choir
New Horizon Choir is a contemporary open-access choir, aiming for excellence in everything they do. It was formed in January 2023, and has already attracted over 70 singers.
About the concert
This is New Horizon Choir's first public concert, and it features an epic programme of music. There is everything from major Motown classics such as "I heard it through the grapevine" and "Ain't no mountain high enough", through hits by artists such as David Bowie, Peter Gabriel and the Rolling Stones, to an epic finale using music originally written for the Commonwealth Games.
Doors will open to ticketholders at 6:30pm. The concert will begin at 7:30pm. Seating is by general admission (not allocated seats), but members of the choir will be on hand to help you find available seats as the auditorium fills up.
About the venue
The concert takes place in the Main Hall at Emmanuel College. There are several car parks within the college grounds. Please enter the building using the Main Entrance, where you'll be greeted by members of the choir and shown through to the hall. The building is fully wheelchair accessible.

Refreshments will be available during the interval, and these are all included in the price of your ticket.

This ticket is for guests seated in a wheelchair. It includes refreshments during the interval. If a wheelchair user needs to have a companion with them in order to fully access the event, please order a "Wheelchair companion" ticket as well (these are free).

This ticket is for people accompanying a wheelchair user in order to assist them and enable their attendance. It must be ordered in the same order as a wheelchair user ticket, otherwise the order will be cancelled.
