Apart from our lower age limit of 18 (which we can make exceptions to under certain circumstances - contact us for details), we welcome anyone to the choir, irrespective of gender, age, ethnicity, religious beliefs, etc.

What we offer
We are a modern non-auditioned choir, open to all adults. Our aim is to provide excellent musical experiences, in every aspect of what we do. Your choir membership includes a minimum of 36 sessions every year (split into 3 seasons of at least 12 sessions each), world-class learning materials, professionally-produced concerts and a members' website area, including a community forum.

THE TEAM
New Horizon Choir is run by the husband and wife team of Tim and Toni Allen.
They have decades of experience of working with singers, from complete beginners to seasoned professionals.
Our learning tracks feature several professional session singers, making them a pleasure to listen to. Our primary male session singer is Alastair Brookshaw, whose credits include West End lead roles, classical solos at venues including the Coliseum and The Royal Albert Hall, singing on numerous major film scores, and being a backing singer for the likes of Shirley Bassey, Gary Barlow and Kylie Minogue.
Our female session singers include Zoë Brookshaw (baroque soprano, with a career spanning The Monteverdi Choir to solo engagements across Europe), Eloise Irving (BBC Choirgirl of the Year, Tenebrae, The Tallis Scholars) and Rebecca Trehearn (Olivier Award winner, West End lead, and regular on Welsh TV).
